Homeschool Hangouts is a weekly homeschool enrichment program for students in grades 1–12. Each month, we’ll explore a different subject through mini lessons, hands-on projects, and creative experiments. Join us in the Community Room on Thursdays from 12:00–1:00 PM to learn, connect, and discover together! VolunTEEN
Looking to earn service hours, build your resume, and make a difference in your community? Join VolunTEENS—our teen volunteer crew! Teens will gain hands-on experience by helping with library programs, organizing materials, prepping crafts, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. It’s a great way to develop new skills, meet other teens, and give back in a fun, flexible environment. We’ll provide training and track your hours—just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help! For teens ages 13-19 only. Online registration is required.

Panels & Pizza
Graphic novel enthusiasts, join Panels & Pizza a monthly tween book club to discuss graphic novels, engage in related activities, and enjoy pizza. Explore a variety of stories, from superheroes to everyday themes! This month we are reading: Besties: Prank War by Kayla Miller To sign up and receive your free copy stop by the library. For tweens ages 9-12 only. In-Person Registration Required. **While the Library makes every effort to avoid food allergens, we cannot guarantee that food served or used in a program has not come into contact or contains tree nuts, dairy, soy, gluten, or other allergens.
Teens Travel
Join us each month as we “travel” to a new destination and explore its culture through food and hands-on activities! Teens will get the chance to sample a traditional treat and create something inspired by the region we visit. This month, we’re heading to Egypt to make air dry clay relief carvings and snack on some marshmallows!For teens ages 13-19 only. Online registration is required.

Indie Lens PopUp: The Tallest Dwarf
WKU Public Media is partnering with Independent Lens to screen independently made films. One of those films is The Tallest Dwarf. The Tallest Dwarf is about filmmaker Julie Forest Wyman seeking belonging in the little people community and exploring dwarfism within her family. Watch as Wyman explores identity and medicine, asking whether society should change people or the structures that limit them. Register at the library or online.
Red Ink Writers’ Circle
Meet together with other local writers for manuscript critique and for support. Prepare a five-minute section of a manuscript to read, then receive comments from group members with the aim of strengthening your writing. Please bring copies of your selected pages for group members. Open to adult authors of all genres. April 2 meeting will be in the Quiet Reading Room. April 16 meeting will be in the Periodical Room.
