Stomp into a prehistoric sensory adventure! We'll read Dinos & Donuts- afterwards kids will use pool noodle “donuts,” shaving cream frosting, and colorful sprinkle toppings to create delicious-looking dinosaur-themed treats—no baking required! This hands-on program encourages creativity, sensory exploration, and imaginative play while celebrating everyone's favorite combination: dinosaurs and donuts. Dress for mess! This program is designed for preschool through 1st grade. Each program will feature a story and hands-on activity that promotes fine motor skills. 

Tales from the Treehouse is a story time program designed for toddler-kindergarten. This event is held outdoors at The Grove. Each week will feature a new theme with songs, stories, and activities. This week we'll be painting- dress for mess! Registration required: You only need to sign up the child who will be participating in the activity. Grab a brush and travel back to the age of dinosaurs! In this step-by-step painting program, kids will follow along to create their very own prehistoric masterpiece. No painting experience is needed—we'll guide artists through each stage, from sketching their dinosaur to adding colorful details. By the end of the program, everyone will take home a roaring work of art to display with pride! Ages 5-12 are invited to create their own delicious sweet treat that mimics Earth's layers. Afterwards, we'll settle in to watch Ice Age (PG).

Young paleontologists are invited to dig into some creative fun! After reading a story, preschoolers will use air dry clay and a variety of pasta shapes to build their own dinosaur skeletons and prehistoric creations. This hands-on activity encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and early STEM exploration while bringing the world of dinosaurs to life. Join us for a roar-some afternoon of pasta-powered paleontology!
