| FreeHomeschool Hangouts is a weekly homeschool enrichment program for students in grades 1–12. Each month, we’ll explore a different subject through mini lessons, hands-on projects, and creative experiments. Join us in the Community Room on Thursdays from 12:00–1:00 PM to learn, connect, and discover together! SCHEDULE FOR MARCH – GEOGRAPHY (THE EASTERN UNITED STATES)
March 2: New York – Balloon Parade Creations – Celebrate New York’s famous parade traditions as we decorate our own colorful parade-style balloons.
March 9: Vermont – Maple Slime – Explore Vermont’s maple heritage by making maple syrup-inspired slime. *Parents must be present for supervision.*
March 16: Maryland – Crab Claws – Learn about Maryland’s iconic blue crabs as we create fun and crafty crab claws.
March 23: Pennsylvania – Paper Pie – Discover Pennsylvania’s rich food traditions while making a playful pie-themed craft.
March 30: Maine – Lighthouses – Journey to Maine’s rocky coast as we design and build our own lighthouse creations.
