Homeschool Hangouts is a weekly homeschool enrichment program for students in grades 1–12. Each month, we’ll explore a different subject through mini lessons, hands-on projects, and creative experiments.

SCHEDULE FOR MAY – AMERICAN DANCE STYLES

May 4: American Dance Styles – Join us for a special Homeschool Hangout with SOMA Center for Dance! Co-owner Tori Gillespie will introduce a variety of American dance styles as we learn basic movements and explore their cultural roots.

May 11: SOMA Center for Dance Field Trip – Visit SOMA Center for Dance (665 Happy Valley Rd, Glasgow, KY 42141) to practice what we’ve learned and try out a dance from their upcoming performance of Princess & The Frog. *Please wear athletic clothes, bring socks (no street shoes allowed on the dance floor), and a water bottle.
