Through her work\, Lettice provides a compelling glimpse into the lived experience of American women before modern conveniences\, highlighting their essential yet often unrecognized contributions to family\, community\, and society. Lettice is portrayed by Dr. Cynthia Resor. \nThis program is brought to you by Kentucky Humanities with support from the Federation of State Humanities Councils\, the America250KY Commission\, and the Kentucky Historical Society.
