    Stomp into a prehistoric sensory adventure! We'll read Dinos & Donuts- afterwards kids will use pool noodle “donuts,” shaving cream frosting, and colorful sprinkle toppings to create delicious-looking dinosaur-themed treats—no baking required! This hands-on program encourages creativity, sensory exploration, and imaginative play while celebrating everyone's favorite combination: dinosaurs and donuts. Dress for mess! This program is designed for preschool through 1st grade. Each program will feature a story and hands-on activity that promotes fine motor skills.

    A lost island where dinosaurs roam and untouched societies endure awaits your party. Sent to uncover why time forgot it, you must survive and unravel its secrets. Led by Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library’s official Dungeon Master Chris Jones, every choice could free the island or trap you in its past. For teens ages 9-12. Online registration is required. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING A LEVEL FIVE CHARACTER SHEET.

    Tales from the Treehouse is a story time program designed for toddler-kindergarten. This event is held outdoors at The Grove. Each week will feature a new theme with songs, stories, and activities. This week we'll be painting- dress for mess! Registration required: You only need to sign up the child who will be participating in the activity. Please note: Like and follow our Youth Facebook page for the latest updates and any cancellations.     Stomp, chomp, and build your way through an afternoon of prehistoric fun from 12–6 PM! Drop in for a dinosaur-themed free-build LEGO challenge where your imagination can run wild—create anything from towering T. rex habitats to dino-sized inventions. Creations will be shared and voted on through Facebook, so bring your most roar-some ideas! We’ll also have a movie marathon playing throughout the event, making it the perfect place to relax, build, and enjoy some dino-mite entertainment. Each participant will receive a dinosaur lego prize while supplies last!

    Create a one-of-a-kind keepsake inspired by the age of dinosaurs! In this hands-on craft program, kids will shape and decorate salt dough pendants with a prehistoric twist. Use dinosaur footprints, fossils, leaves, shells, and other natural textures to create ancient-looking designs. All youth are welcome to attend!

    Meet together with other local writers for manuscript critique and for support. Prepare a five-minute section of a manuscript to read, then receive comments from group members with the aim of strengthening your writing. Please bring copies of your selected pages for group members. Open to adult authors of all genres.
